ok i have a 95 splash (in profile) and like 2 days ago, my driver side keyhole locked up. I can put my key in to unlock it but it doesnt turn in either direction. I try to force it but i am afraid i am gunna break my key off. So now i have to look stupid by opening my passenger door, and unlocking the driver side door from inside the truck. The door and the handles and everything work fine from inside the truck. I just cant figure it out, its like my keyhole is locked up or hung on something. nobody super glued it or anything because the key jiggles, it just wont unlock kinda like it might be jammed somewhere inside the door. I thought it might be my key cuz its kind of worn out but its not because it starts the truck and unlocks the passenger side door fine. Then my girlfriends 99 explorer started doing the same thing. Same symptoms as my splash being the driver side door thats acting up. Anybody with a ford have this problem and know of a solution, cuz its a pain in the ass to unlock it from the passenger side. My girlfriend has power locks so its not as bad for her. im starting to think this comes as a standard option for fords
