Should I get it???

My friends mom has a 1968 Lincoln Continental. Its a 4 door with seuscide doors. She is willing to give it to my but i have to pay fro the repair work that was done in order to get it out of the shop. Its only a few hundred for the work. But the car still needs work. It has a 460 in it but wont start bc it sat so long. Well, does it sound like somethin to get, fix and bag or just leave it alone?
