Frame Off Restore

I want to do a frame off restoration, but im limited to equipment, mostly since i have to do this at my house. but i have lots a scrap metal and a welder, and hydraulic pumps, and chains, and what not. so i was thinking building a A-frame to lift the cab off the frame. Anybody have some suggestions? what is easier?
