Has anyone seen any 89-95 bodystyle toys with the bed shortened? Im thinking of that as my next mod but i would like to see one done.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say 4-5 inches shorter in front of the wheelwell, and 4-5 inches shorter behind the wheelwell. Maybe a little more out back. It's a lot shorter. I put the original picture below the photoshopped one for comparison.

There was one featured in Mini Truckin' back in 95...it was pink with some graphics, a chopped top,4 Runner Bumper and 5 Star wheels on it. The feature was called "Shorty" I believe

I like the idea of shorting one. The photochop looks cool.

A lot of the offroad guys "bob" the rear of their beds. I took a picture on my camera of one like this Matt, I'll show ya' at Reso. But they do this for a purpose other than aesthetics. Its so that the bed doesn't hit stuff on steep inclines, during rock crawling, or just general offroading.

This is getting quite common in OZ. we get single cab and put extra cab or dual cab trays on them. It requires you shortening your chassis.
