Body lines

I was looking at my heap I have and was wondering the lines that run about a 1in or so from the wheel wells on the fenders has anyone shaved them? I not going all out shaving my truck but with the shaved wiper cowl,ant.,and these lines it would clean it up alot and it would be sudtle,I wouldn't think you could use body filler but they aren't that deep would be worried about stress cracks. You info or input will be helpful

I WOULD TRY TO WELD THE GAP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND GRID IT SMOOTH. IF YOU USE JUST STRAIGHT BODY FILLER...YOU MIGHT WANT TO LEAVE IT SIT IN PRIMER FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS. WHEN MY HANDLES WERE SHAVED...THEY SAT FOR 6 IN PRIMER AND STILL CRACKED BUT THEN AGAIN THEY GET SLAMMED BY PEOPLE N STUFF SO IT MIGHT NOT BE AS NECESSARY FOR THE SMALL LINES ON THE FENDERS.

Dont use straight filler or evern fiberglass resin for that matter it will crack after about a year. if your going to do it weld a piece of metal in there.. Smooth it down then use filler over that
