Hey... I did it on my buddies truck... just tack some 16 ga steel sheet across the backside of the vents, then fill the front side with fiberglass re-inforced body filler (kitty hair), mix the kitty hair so it is a slo drying batch (prevents cracking in the future) grind it smooth, do a glaze of bondo, maybe some icing, and paint it! it comes out pretty smooth!

^ thats not the best way to do it. If you do it yourself, cut the vents out and weld some sheetmetal in flush.


I would have bought a Grant cowl if mine was removable.

true...true....but easy if you arent the best welder in the world...all we had was a stick welder, bondo and kittyhair...but we got it shaved- lol

Grant Doesn't make them any more for the older Toys I already talked to them about one for my Truck I'm going to get one from Toyotafiberglass.com As soon as I get a money order for him

^^yea if you go on dragginminis.com theres a dude named slacker that has em. when i get another car all of my wiper accessories are getting shaved, especially since its not working properly
