Weber linkage problem!

I bought a weber carb awhile back off a memeber(wont name names) and parts were missing and i ordered the linkage from fast freddies and it came in today but it desnt seem to work for my carb at all. I was wondering if anyone could take a picture(i know ive asked for them before) and can someone tell me how to bolt the linkage up(which doesnt seem to work at all for the carb.
