I'm new at this.

I have a 98' tacoma and I really like the whole phantom grille look. Is there a aftermarket kit for one? Do I have to do a front end converstion? Basicly what do I need to do to acheive this. Also, the valance I have on there is the stock black plastic thingy. Can that be painted? Or do I have to buy a fiberglass one or something? I would like to thank all of you in advance for the help. they make a billet grille for your tacoma.

as far as the valance goes, you can paint it. what you'll want to do is get an adheasion promoter...i use bulldog 3 in 1 promotor. prep the plastic as instructed spray it one let it dry then primer it with regular automotive primer..(you can add a little of that bull dog into the primer if you want but its not necessary) sand the primer down and apply more coats if need be. then you can just prep and paint it like you would a car. i used this method to smooth and paint my plastic interior peices.
