This is the letter I sent to the local sheriff after we were harassed for having about 80 vehicles show up at the local Sonic for a meet up.

Mr. Mack Wimbish,
My name is Devin Phillips and I am a local automotive enthusiast and we have a monthly meet up for the Central California area right here in beautiful Bakersfield. Last night, we had our meet up at Sonic Drive In on Olive Dr., which we had permission from Sonic to have. Your officers last night, outright harassed the people who were attending our meet up. They conducted themselves in a very disrespectful manner, and began citing people for vehicle violations while parked on private property as a tactic to discourage attendance after your deputies could not get Sonic to ask us to leave.
I respect that you have had problems with young adults on Ming Ave. loitering and causing problems for local businesses, but this was not the case. We were not causing a disturbance to anyone, yet your deputies decided that we were a
