you guys are probably gonna think that i'm a dumbass! but i won't find out if i don't ask. everyone (including the vendor that i was gonna get it from) says i have to recess the headlights to run a phantom grille, but no one knows how to go about doing this! so my question is what all is involved in recessing headlights on a '94 ?

It's not that hard all you have to do is recess them about two inches. This requires some trimming of the sheetmetal mount and if I remember right just screw the lights down more...well let me go look at mine.. it's been awhile since I put it on, but it wasen't that hard maybe an hour.

alright man thanks for the info! i just didn't wanna have to weld in shit, because i've undercoated everything and didn't wanna have to grind that shit off!

yeah we did the same thing with mine as well.... on the passenger side though needed a little more space cause the head light nipple thing pushed it out in one area, so we just shaved the inside of the grille down... cant even tell.

I didnt trim any metal on my truck the 4 plastic tabs that hold the bucket in the support I pulled them off so the bucket will sit back farther and then shortend up the spring
