What kind of primer did you use? Any more pictures?

thats not a tintable primer that he's using, thats infact an etching primer that is supposed to go on bare metal, filler, fiberglass, and all other materials and that way other primers will mate well causing less runs and pitting. But that color is hot, infact I'm rolling the same army green as we speak, to bad I had to see another yota with the same idea. I'm no longer different

Unless you never want to actually paint it, you would want a color that will help promote the color you will eventually paint it. You would not want to primer it a shade of blue just to paint it red. I can understand people riding around in primer because they are not finished with fabrication or metal work, but I think it gets lame after about two years and no more work has been done.

agreed. Another big reason most people run primer is not only because fabrication isnt done, but because there body work isn't the greatest, another words if painted you would see terrible things. That's why I never by cars or trucks that say "primer, ready for paint" why dont they go ahead and paint it and up the value of the truck? just my opinion.

Also before someone asks I'm running primer because I dont have a paint booth and its way to cold to even try laying base.

My excues is the body work is not done, plus I'm a cheap ass.
