Beat it!, and you will come.

^^ hahaha....

i would use a rubber mallet. not a hammer. or get a piece of 2x4 after it starts to fold over so you can beat on the 2x4 not your rocker.

The textbook way to do it would be to cut it off and reweld the seam, but its rarely done that way (not even i did it) I used a combination of a BFH and duckbill pliers. Do be careful tho like holcombe said and dont smash up your rocker.

i cut mine. and i did it at the hight of summer and welding and grinding it outside really sucked. it probably wouldnt be so bad no im more proficiant at welding large areas of sheet but at the time it was horrible.

im glad i did it tho becuase i now have tube xmembers and it looks pretty good underneith, but yeah welding it takes a while

cut it off my s10, it sucked, so this time i folded it like kyle said. seems to me that it keeps some structural integrity to just fold it rather than cut it.

Whichever route you go make sure you put some seam sealer over the area. Just smooth it out, you'll be happy you did in a couple of years.

I fold all of them. I use a crescent wrench, and adjust it so its a little wider then the pinch, and then I use it to pry against the pinch. I work my way down the pinch pushing every 2 inches or so, and do it about 2 times, then its at nearly a 45 degree angle. Then I use a 2 lb hammer to work it up the rest of the way. Haven't dented any rockers yet. But I did crack the bondo on the Mazda where someone filled a hole, and the body filler was attached to the pinch.
