this is on a 93 toyota pickup.
well, today i go to the shop to get an alignment and the guy noticed that the passenger side bag mount was broken. so i look and it is! i dont know when it broke, but last time i checked there wasnt too long ago and i didnt notice it like that. the front was done by a shop in novemeber of 02', so its had its good years in it, but i know this is not suppose to happen.
the shop is still around, i go there often to get parts, and i know the dude. so its not like i got it done and disapeared from the shop. the front has not been touched since he bagged it. im going to go to the shop tomorrow to tell him whats up, but i was wondering what do you guys think should be done by the shop? things to say?
most importatly, u can see the frame itself has been ripped right below the weld, was this cause by bag positioning of the gussets? can this be fixed, if so, what do u recommened? i realy hope i can fix this without much hassle or problems, i'll leave the name of the shop unsaid until i see how he plans to fix it, if not....well then ill make sure to spread the word
