wierd title eh? well.....ok heres the thing....
i have a Yamaha Banshee atv frame that i was going to sale for some money on ebay. well, i went to the storage building today to check the numbers and what-not on it to see what model the frame is.
i bought the frame a while back from a friend and just thru it in the storage building. here recently i noticed one sale on ebay for almost 150 dollars so i figured i would drag it out and toss it on ebay.
well, i got to the storage building, got it out and started looking for the serial numbers....COULDN'T FIND ANY! either painted over, or ground off, im not sure....
my question is, what would happen if i put it on ebay and it came back as stolen sometime down the road? im not sure it is stolen, and if i knew EXACTLY where the serial number is supposed to be, i would sand it down and look for the numbers......
This is the most valuable thing i have that the 'rents will let me get rid of, so i really need the money, but seeing as im already on probation, i dont need a theft charge or something of that nature......
