Allright, I'm doing the turbo Probe engine swap and dropped by to check on my engine progress.
Thought I'd share some stuff with the other guy's doing this. I'm using an '89 Probe GT engine: 2.2l with a Subaru STi Turbo...should be good for 20 PSI.
Got some parts custom made for this:
Intake flip kit: allows the stock throttle body to face forward, not into the firewall.
Lightweight alloy crank pulley
Bored throttle body: bigger is better
ECU Chip: Fuel cut elimination
Custom cam: suited for daily driving with a big turbo.
Big Brakes: using 300ZX Rotors and Probe/ MX6 calipers. Stay tuned for results.
Gonna have to meeet up with Krazeryn and Mazdalowandslow for some boosted B-series racing.
