So as it is, I'm old enough to be around when 8 tracks were cool, and were replaced by the all to cool cassette tape, out dated by the Compact Disc. So as you can guess I have some really old CD's in my collection. One of which TuPac's original CD purchased on a wait list, for god sakes. So what I want to know is why my old ass TuPac CD that is all scratched to hell can play with out a single skip in my old school pioneer CD player but my brand Spankin new CD's with one tiny little scratch skips like a mofo? I was thinking it was my CD player so I grabbed one of the wifes CD's, one of those Shania Twain, dixie chicks or some sort of girl country cd's, it did the same thing. So I go and put it in the minivan, same deal. My minivan has a brandnew CD player in it. So I pull out my old ass CD's from way back, the ones that have been in and out of a cd player so many times you can't even make out the surface, they play just fine. What's the deal. In my opinion, either the CD companies are making CD's that degrade in light, or the qaulity is just CRAP. Seriously, all my old rap, and bass CD's sound perfect. Do you guys have the same problems with new CD's? YA YA I know, burn em onto MP3, true but come on, why the hell do they skip two days after you buy them?
