Airbrush Help.

I recently purchased a Iwata Eclipse Hp-BCS airbrush. when im trying to airbrush a really fine line it seems to want to skip. Ive thinned the paint out to where its damn close to being transparent so i dont think thats the problem. Plus does anybody know of a book that shows how to properly clean an airbrush. For some reason I didnt get any type of instructions or anything.. ive just been running some thinner through it till its clear of paint.. Thanx for helpin.
