just curious because my buddy has an 01 honda civic and on those cars the gas door pops open from inside the car. Therefore it doesnt have the bulge for your finger to pull the door open. His gas door is right in the middle of the bodyline, the same contour as the other panels, and is flush with the body. i'm thinkin it would suck to try and shave that door and make the bodyline and contour out of a piece of sheet metal. Why couldnt you just relocate your gas filler neck and use the exsisting door as your filler plate? It is allready lined up and in place and has the body line in it. i dont know alot about how you guys shave cars but would this be a possibility or is that how you guys do it or what. here is a visual
