heres a quote from a post i had on
www.mazdatruckin.com forums about supercharging a carb'd 2.2 f2 engine isntead of the typical turbocharger setup...using the compressor side of a turbocharger as the supercharger(centrifugal) style...just need a weber carb and rejet it to supply fuel...
----------------------------------------
that idea sounds good.
my AC needs to be recharged..im just gonna take it off anyways.
so i could just replace my AC Compressor with a centrifugal supercharger or half of a turbo(not exhaust side right?, the intake side)
than just have a pulley but on the spinnign blade of doooom lol. than have the ac belt run the pulley.
i 'might' be able to have my friend make an adapter plate for the carb to allow it to have a pipe connected to it from the supercharger....
this sounds pretty easy...and if i get 5lbs id be more than happy haha. hmm maybe i might have it run through an itnercooler just for teh look and to stop it from detonating from the higher temps.
i know alla bout turboing a EFI setup, was going to start buying the pieces fro my 02 Lancer but i got t-boned...so.
might have to look into this a lil more. i know plenty of ppl that might have a turbo available...just need to make some brackets to mount it, get an adapter for the carb and ill try it....i just need a weber carb now haha.
do u know what kind of rejetting it needs?

a guy said he was going to try this with a turbo and stuff but decided to do a f2t swap instead.
anyone ever tried this or think its feasible?
