Lower valence........

When I bought my 86' it didn't come with a lower valence....I recently purchased one, went to install it and it didn't line up at all.....There seem to be a huge gap between the bumper and the valence. The two mounting holes in the middle didn't line up. The previous owner hit something on the right hand side, he replaced all the body panels fenders, hood etc.... but he kinda rigged the bumper support bracket, knowing this I bought a metal plate to help mount it but still didn't work.. . Does anyone have pics of how this is supposed to mount up? It should be an 86 2WD stock front end. Thanks for the help fellas.

Hey man do you have a picture of what you're working with? It sounds possible that you have a mix matched bumper from maybe a 4x4 truck, or 4-Runner
