88 long bed to short bed

I have a 88 long bed, what do I have to do to put a short bed on it. What modifications and can I just put a short bed on with minor mods.

Put a shortbed on the frame, center it over your rear axle, measure the gap between the bed and cab, cut that much out of the frame, shorten the driveshaft, mod your brake and fuel lines, cut off the excess frame sticking out at the rear. I did something similar to a '71 GMC, except I didn't cut the frame in front of the bed, I made it an extended cab shortbed truck. I have a few pictures on my website under projects (link).

Or you can just buy an '88 shortbed rolling chassis that has a good bed on it from me and not cut anything! Hint, Hint. or should I say Cheap, Cheap.
