Hello...I have the Pioneer GM-4000F 4 Channel amp. I got it from a friend and I have no boolet for it. I also have an older Pioneer Deck, I don't recall what model it is but it only has 1 pair of RCA outputs on the back of it ( left, right ). Okay, here is my problem.. I have 2 Alpine 12 inch subs that I want to run off of it, and it's a 4 channel amp but it says you can bridge it to 2 channels which would be perfect for me because I could run the 2 subs off of the 2 channel mode.. but what I'm wondering is.. how do I hook it up.. the RCA Jacks. I know the amp has 2 pairs of RCA inputs... and I only have 1 pair on my deck. Do I just hook it up LEFT and RIGHT from the back of the deck into one of the pair of Inputs on the amp. Or do I know have have all 4 ( 2 pair ) on the amp pulled in.. if that was the case I'd have to use Y splitters or something. I don't know how to hook up the speaker wires either.. to have it bridged to two channel or whatever... the 2 subs aren't wired together to one speaker terminal.. they are seperate. I just want to achieve the max power of this amp and I only need it for 2 subs... Also... I have it hooked up just how you'd hook up any other amp with the power wire/ground/remote wire and all of that.. I have the remote system control wire hooked up but the amp light is constantly on.. even when I turn off the cd player/ ignition... as long as the Red power wire is hooked up it will show power light .. doesn't that drain my battery? and why wont it turn off/on with the system remote wire hooked up? The power light seems to be dim sometimes and brigher at other times.. is that because I have a bad connection somewhere.. probably my ground wire?? but anyways... I had it hooked up and was trying to fool around with it but I couldn't get the subs to sound.. I need some help guys..Thanks
