B&M Short Throw Shifter

B&M Short Throw Shifter. Has any one used one of these on there 98-03 Sonoma or S-10? Is it worth the $170? If you have, do you have any installed pictures or information about the install and can I use my billet specialties shifter rod and knob with it. Or if anyone knows a better short throw then the B&M
