4-link or wishbone?

should i go with a 4-link or a wishbone setup. i really like the look of a wishbone but have a 302 w/ 8.8 rearend,and need to know what is best.

how many joints do i need for it to be a true side to side. do i need one on every end of the bars or just on the ends that connect to the axle?
