Front Wont Lay out??

sweet deal..i'll get some pics if i get time....
as far as "Z'ing" the frame....
looks like i'll be doing that ....first i'm going to get a back half and the my new wheels...

there is a guy in my club who re built his front cross member to lay flat. i am going to do my truck the same way. it will be way easier than Zing the frame. and then i am going to BD to my doors. i think

hey skip...how did he do that without having Z the frame..???

i think he just cut it out and raised it. not positive. but the frame rails right under his firewall are still like 3/8 off the ground. then he tappered his BD so the body lays flat. next time i see him i will ask how he did it.

i tried the "dragging off" approach to this problem. it worked for a little while but then it got dangerously close to my control arms. it still doesnt lay out but its damn close. im just goint to Z the frame when i bodydrop. I do recommend dragging it cause it throughs some good sparks.

it really does through way good sparks.
