the face of the cabinet is 46"w x 13.5"h x 13"d for a single 12" sub that requires 3.5 cu ft and either 2 4" x 12" circle ports or 2 12.5" suare ports. i wanna center the sub in the box,so the ports will have to be on either end of the box.. if i use cirle ports do i put them on the same side or do i put one on each end? or does placement matter? if i went with square ports they would have to be on opposite ends so.. im a little confused... and which port would sound better circle or square?

and if i went square what size would it be id i combine the 2? a 12.5w x 2" slot? cause im assuming a 12.5 in square port is calculated by 1" i.e. 12.5w x 1"h x 12' deep square port...

sorry if its confusing.. its hard to write out!

thanks
