health insurance?what do you have??

i quit got fired. due to the fact i wanna go to school more and i get paid cash better elsewhere. money isnt the problem but health coverage is, jsu in case soemthin happens to me. im wonderin if any of you guys out there have coverage on your own? not thru the place you work for? and what the cost is liek, and what its called and so on. im looking to get some but i think i will end up paying a ton a month? any help? thanks
