what years came carbed?

im lookin for a carbed parts truck i found a 87 that i know is carbed but its in bad shape but i found an 89 as well that would be a better truck and its far away, but it looks good and i just want to know if either one of these has a z24 motor and what the difference between the z24 and the z24i? is the z24i injected? if soem one can help me out it would be great.
