I just bought a gun last week with a 2.0 mm tip. My friend started spraying the flakes, and the only flakes that came out the gun without jamming were the micro mini flakes. The jumbo flakes got jammed like crazy, and the small flakes even took about 20 minutes to spray on small 12x12 panel.
These were all old school flakes. Is there anything that needs to be added in the clearcoat to shoot them out? The gun was was a 2 IN 1 HVLP GRAVITY FEED SPRAY AND PRIMER GUN. It said the 2.0mm tip was meant for priming,but does that even matter?
