Hey all!
Just have a quick question about setting up two air tanks on my system...
I wanted to know if different Tank setups can make a difference to the speed (or whatever) of the system.
Ive got Two tanks. Both 6gal. One is a 4 port and one is an 8 port.
Setup one:
Have Everything connected to the 8port tank - then just have a line connecting the 4 port (for more volume)
or
Setup two:
Have the Bags connected into the 8port tank - and have the two compressors connected into the 4 port.
If their exactly the same then id prefer to go with Setup One, just because I could set it out alot neater.. But ive got the feeling that setup two would actually work better.. - Something to do with the compressors in one tank - pushing air pressure down into a seperate tank - where the bags are...
Also, if I was to go with setup one, would a single 1/2" line be ok?? or would that 'restrict' things?? Because if I have 4 bags, all with independent 1/2" lines and their all using the 'pressure' would a single 1/2" line from the 2nd tank slow things down??
I dunno if im looking into this too much but yeah - just want it to be right the First time..
Any info would be great!!
