okay heres my question, i have an hombre (s10) and i smoothed the bed floor and bed sides. i used 16 gage sheetmetal. i plug welded the new floor to the original one. and i also smoothed the sides with te 16 gage. my question is what does everyone do to support the sides from bowing\warping while welding? im having an oilcanning issue in some aras on the bed sides, and i spot welded everything with in an inch or two then stitch welded connecting the spots together, and i still got warpage, and lso shrinking in areas, im basicly screwed on fixng it ill get some pics up soon maybe some one can give me an idea. but for future reference i would like to know a better way to do this so this problem wont happen again. thanks in advance for anyone who can help me!
