tire size?

ok i have a 93 isuzu pickup and my front passenger side tired fucking went and ripped the fuck out of it and my bottom part of my fender. my size on the is 205/65/15 well i need some thing smaller cause my front is dropped a whole lot. i check prices and i found a set of 205/50/15 for $312.18 mounted and balanched and all the fun stuff. well is that a good deal and will the rim stick out of the fender like pop out the sides?? cause i want some thing thats gonna stay inside the wheel well?? anyone know?
