All I use is compression too, DOT approved ones though, I dunno why just personal preference and saves a little $ if you don't mind turning a wrench a few times..

ive just had better luck with push connect after seven years of being bagged no leaks at all

I'd never had a single problem with them either. , But decided since i'm gonna hop on air now, I didn't wanna risk it, lol
