Powdwecoated kegger intake

Do you think powdercoating a kegger intake manifold will keep unwanted heat in the plenum? There are those that tell me the powdercoating will act like a barrier and wont let the heat disapate. Yes, only the exterior of the kegger will be coated. Your thoughts, opinions, suggestions, flames, bashings and insults are encouraged and welcomed. Thanks in advance.
