What kind of 4wheeler should I buy???

My parents just bought a lake house so my dad thinks he needs a 4wheeler now. He wants to buy something used and not spend a fortune. What do you guys suggest? Remember, he wants used and a good price, so what kind of atv's fall in that catagory? I was thinkin a honda but let me know what you think?
