Keep the stock tank. Theres nothing wrong with them.

if you are planning cleaning your stock tank of old gas, here's how to do it. drain your tank( duh){ my has a drain plug}, pressure wash it, let dry ( 24hrs sounds good) there is some stuff you can put in your gas to get rid of water in the tank, use that the first tank full.

Cool
I plan on keeping it then.
what can I do about the feed line the 2 fitting on it are sooo rusty they feel like they are gonna break when I try to losen them.
I soaked them with pb blaster still no good.
Any ideas?
If I break the top one I will have to buy a new pump for the tank.
If I break the bottom one its hard line all the way to the front.
Thanks again

if u bust them u can braise a piece of brake line in place or compression fitting if there is enough left on the top of the tank. thats what i had to do because my truck saw a couple of salty winters. but then i scored a mint sending unit at a junk yard.

I went to clean out my stock tank and it was totally rusted inside. So I decided to order an RCI fuel cell. Should be here soon and I hope it's easy to hook up. I ordered one with a sending unit.
