Brake Problem?

when i come to a light or i am in stop and go traffic i can push on the brakes and about every other time i push on the pedal i have to push it all the way to the floor

What is going out?
or has anyone had this problem

Bleed the brakes if that dont fix it sounds like the master cylinder is going out.....
