Any way you could make some brackets to hold short coils in place of the bags?

maybe some sort of bolt in cups.. might be a shot bot sure... what about the coil overs do they hold weight or are they more of a shock then a spring

you could replace your lower bag links with leaf springs... cut the leaf springs b hind the axle while still bolted on... just an idea... i saw some tard on tv do it to a f150....jesse james...

remember in team america wehn mat damon would keep saying his nam all retarded... we need one for jesse james...

What have others been doing to pass inspection??

You could always find a newer hilux and rob the coil springs from there. Remove em and re-install when your due for another inspection.

Coilovers will hold weight. Theyre just expensive.

Are they saying that you can't run just bags? No shocks?

If thats the case throw some shocks on there it'll ride better.

yeah na fellas... it has shocks .. in aus there gettin passed fairly easy with your standard bag set up and a 4 link.. but i live below aus in tasmania and the rules are even more fucked... i had my engineer here this mornin and he said i sould unblot shocks and get some custom coil overs made up... and that when the coil overs bottem out the chassie cant be below 100mm off the ground which is that 4 inchs over there.. but after its passed just unbolt them and put shocks back in till i get defected and need to get it passed again
