Well, my heater core took a shit, got antifreeze on my damn carpet on the drivers side, leaked all over the f'in ground, so today me and a buddy of mine yanked the entire dash out. That was a total bitch, especially since i cant really use my left arm or 2 fingers on my right hand so that suked cyyyyyyooocckkkk!!!!

BUT the good part about it is im gonna paint my entire dash gloss black, most likely.

Has anyone ever done this before? How have u done it? What is the PROPER way to do i? I will be daily driving this thing so it will be subjected to alot of twisting and what not from just drivin around. I dotn want it to crack like i seen bondo or fiberglass dashes do before.

And how bad is the reflection of the sun and what not in the summer of the dash off the window?

Whats the best way to scuff it to get it to hold paint? And no im not sanding the entire thing smooth cause thats a bitch and a waste of time. And im not glassing it b/c thats also a waste of time and will eventually crack with daily driving. Im probably gonna sand it down some and then use a highbuild primer sprayed out of a gun.

What kinda primer/paint has everyone use? I need to know within the next few weeks cause it will be gettin a crapload of work done to it so i need to plan ahead.

Feels crazy drivin around wit no dash lots and lots of room, hell, i might just leave the damn thing out LOL. Never noticed how much just empty space is under that dash, wat a waste.
