it "forces" the truck to drop.. when you flip them, the springs work with gravity to push the truck down. i wouldnt have told him to do that unless he was bagged and notched. the bags now over come the weight of the truck and the pressure of the leaves. it lets you sit way lower and possibly drag if your notch is big enough.

i wouldnt recomend it without bags and a notch unless you dont mind an exremely shitty ride!!!

well there flipped and the ride is kida stiff but i have to ride kinda hight cuase my drive shaft is hitting the lip of my gas tank so i have to take care of that on my lunch break tomorrow.

yeah, i had to roll mine up too. you might have a problem with it rubbing on the cab. at least it does a lil bit on my 88 standard. once you get the tank lip rolled, roll it lower and it will ride a lot smoother.

at what part of the tank or should i just roll the whole side lip of the tank?

i had to roll the whole lip on the tank up. the joint is close but it doesnt touch....it could prolly be rolled a lil more, but i havent done it...its fine as of right now. heres a picture, you can kinda see where i had to roll the lip up. my truck is laid out in that picture so you can see the drive line is close to the tank.
