Mitsu Galant bumper

how much will a bumper for a mitsu galant cost? i backed into someone in a parking lot today and cracked his bumper (no damage to my vehicle....they should still use steel bumpers on new cars.......)

the only damage to his car is the front bumper cover got cracked (and honestly, it looked like it had been bondo'ed.....plastic bumper covers dont shatter....do they?....and there was rust up under it.....)

so how much do you think im lookin at to repair his car? we are settleing it without insurance and without a police report......

hopeing it dont cost me to much....
