I have a half gallon of this stuff... it was hella expensive and mixes 50/50 with the reducer. I used it last summer on my first primer job and it turned out like shit cuz I didn't know what I was doing... I didn't filter the paint before I put it in my Central Pneumatic (Harbor Freight) HVLP gun so it clogged up on the tip... maybe a lil more reducer would have helped too. Anyway I had a rust spot on the roof that showed right through this stuff. Is that what Veriprime is made for? I worked 1 day at a body shop and that's what my boss told me to get for my truck but he didn't really explain why this stuff is so great. Does anyone know what makes this better than other primers? And is Marhide a good cheap primer?

Another paint question, when you are prepping, do you use a longboard or one of those little rubber blocks? I found it hard as hell to keep things even sanding with a rubber block but a longboard made things a lot easier. What do you use for a guide coat?
