I went to put my truck back together so I could test cruise it. I put the strut rods back on and now I can't get enough lift to turn the wheels or lay completly out. What have you guys done to correct this??

I have a set of lowers coming from Can Do but its going to be a couple weeks before I get them so I am wanting to get this addressed for now.

Oh I totally understand, they have been on order for 4 weeks now.

I gotta get the truck moved because some one broke into the garage and stole just about everything but the truck last week.

The meth-head situation around here is getting worse and worse. All 3 of us working out of that garage got a our shit nabbed. Oh well, ime to call Sears and raise the limit on my card adn go shopping. I'm not going to spend all the money re-buying S&K and Blackhawks all over again.

Anywho, so does anybody have any suggestions on the strut bars aside from tube arms??

the 87 and 93 we bagged both had the strut rods still in place, not sure what your exact prob is. dont tighten the big nuts so tight maybe?

Why is laying it out a problem if you just have ot move it? If it wont go high enough to turn pull the fenders off.

i modified my strut bars lol

i dont see how the strut rods are your problem especially a lifting problem... unless maybe u have them too tight and you have some really solid bushings

The problem is in the bushing crush washer, it bottoms out on the support that comes off the frame. I really wasn't for sure if there was a trick like flipping the bar on top of the control arm. I'll try to break the rods loose and see if I can't adjust it a little and see where that gets me.
