I'm about to bag my truck and hoping to have it ready for BloodDrag and ws wondering what people did about the crossmember that runs under the rear of the cab? Can I cut it out and remake it to go under the bed? I had to notch it when I static dropped it 6", I just want to lay frome on 17" the biggest and drag ass

i just chopped mine out in the middle and welded in a hoop, just incase i drop the driveshaft.---just watch how low the hoop hangs...lol, tack it in and make sure you can go full up and down without rubbing. If i put the front @130 psi and the rear at 10 my shaft rubs. it doesnt hurt it, but its noisy under your ass!!

i cut out the part of the x-member right above the driveshaft and took a section of 1/4 steel plate, bent it to fit real nice like and welded it in. worked great.

thats because your drive shaft is bolted to that crossmember, you're xcab right?

mine was just cut out in the center so the drive shaft doesnt touch and then a new one was made back a little bit to clear the cab...it comes up and thats what my 3-link bar connects to.

Well I'm going to box in the end of the frame rails and make a cage for my cell and then there will be another bar on the notch So hopefully that will be good
