What size tire? Some are 25" some are 28".

this is something you'll have to figure out. it all depends on where your bags are placed, where your bridge is at, and so on... take the radius of the tire size, find out where you brige is located, subtract the height of your back fully decompressed, and figure what you notch is going to be. 5-8" is the typical size but it all depends on the other factors. your going to want to mount your bags at true zero...what i mean by that is the point in which your frame touches you bag should be fully decompressed or at zero. its not necessary per say but you will get the highest amount of lift and functionality out of the suspension. hope that helps.

Just dont put in a rediculous sized notch. I hate looking at a nice truck and then see they have 5''+ between the axle and notch... makes me think they cant use a tape measure.

its so they can put 26's on later. lol
