drop shocks...

i need mew drop shocks for the rear on my s-10...why would toxic shocks say "use on passenger side of 4'' drop and driver side of 7'' drop"...i need two..do i need two dif shocks?...sounds stupid but does anyone know?..and do toxic shocks come with boots cause i think thats why mine shit the bed...
