Just about to start the body drop on my 93 lux! I have been told all different lenghts in which i should drop it.... like 2 1/2, 2 5/8 and 3 inches! I am cutting the pinch off so that the cab can lay flat on the ground! So which measurement is right? The front will be z notches to get the front bar and the full chassie laying on the ground! Any help would be great as theres not much info to be found on things like this in Australia!

Just lay the truck's frame on 2 pieces of box tube or like 4x8 wood beams, that will reach across the truck to both frame rails. one in front and one in back of cab area. then cut. it will come out layin on the frame and rockers at the same time. No pinchmolding. Its like a 2-5/8" bodydrop.

Do like he ^ said. All trucks are different from the factory, you're never going to get exactly the same measurement. Usually its a 1" Z. Then just measure for the bodydrop. And, I would put a 1/4" spacer under the framerail so the body sits just a little bit lower. It will lay harder.
