Crutch mentioned about selling back my old JDM Miata engine/tranny/harness/ecu I bought for a Mazda that never progressed beyond some cursory body cuts.

On the one hand I have a nice running JDM 2 liter with the dual sidedraft CBR F4i throttle bodies. I have a Magnum head for it.

On the other, I always wanted a B1600i. Keep in mind the swap would almost be a drop in, except moving some mounts. I already have a custom EFI computer and pump setup, so I wouldn't need much else.

With the miata, I would need to have the EDIS system working BEFORE testing. I haven't had time to figure out the software issues yet, so it is not working on the 2 liter yet. I would need to have the crank pulley done again to mount the EDIS wheel.

BUT I will be spending about the same for a custom header and the head gasket kit for the 2 liter, and still need to manufacture the airbox.

It really is six of one half dozen of the other, if I save any money either way I'll likely buy some KUSTOMWERKS arms for my toyo swap.
