Well i ordered an in dash flip out 7" tv, figured id cut a small rectangle above my glove compartment and itd work..but just realized theres that bigass rod going across. just wondering if i could cut it and make some sort of square tube notch that goes behind the tv unit. would i even have to notch it or just cut it out and leave it or what, im not familiar with the strength of where a dash is bolted in.
