What to do for motor mounts for Small block in Pup.

Anyone that has done a V-8 swap in an Isuzu, what did you do for motor mounts? I've been told by a couple of people to use the stock mounts and just build new upper motor mounts to fit the lowers, what do I have to worry about strength-wise if I do that? Thanks.
